except to remind this Used Tire Dealer about the Eight Great Grandparents of mine who left their families and Europe behind so they and their family could have a better life in America. Growing up I was fortunate to know and Love all my Grandparents most of them into adulthood While they spoke yiddish the tongue of their parents neither my parents or our generation bothered to learn
This year we lost the last of all my Great Aunts and Uncles my Grandmothers and Grandfathers sisters ans brothers are now all gone,All born in this country the children of Naturalized Us citizens now we have the Great Great Great Grandhildren of these immigrants and for that I am eternally Thankful to my Great Grandparents this Yiddish Song is for you!!!!!!
